Are you a Christian who:

  • Practices relaxation techniques that only provide momentary relief, but tension and stress do not go away?

  • Spends beyond your means to feel important, valued, respected only to find out there is never enough?

  • Believes that being debt-free is to ensure a comfortable retirement?

  • Is an emotional decision maker. You fight to be right regardless of how others think or feel. You choose to be right over being kind, leaving you upset and alone?

  • Stays fit to look attractive and desirable, but it does not change the way you feel inside?

  • Is discontent with your job, wondering why you are working so hard and not getting ahead, leaving you unfulfilled?

  • Is anxious, worried or fearful, thinking you are alone and no one understands you or cares about you?

  • Consumes 24/7 of newscasts, social medial, or publications that highlight only the bad in society, leaving you helpless and hopeless?

  • Is contributing to the decline of the environment?

  • For valid reasons, no longer attends church and is now skeptical of its value and purpose?

If you answer Yes to any of these questions, God is inviting you to live in His Wholeness and Peace.

Traditional Worldview and its Wellness Practices

The traditional worldview and its wellness practices are generally represented by eight domains or areas. These areas are depicted in the diagram above.

When one or more of these domains is off, our whole being is off.

Among the challenges for a Christian when adopting traditional worldviews and the wellness practices that come with it are:

•The Spiritual dimension is a portion of the whole, having equal share with other dimensions.

•The center or aim is for self-improvement

Most of the time we are not aware of our unintentional adoption of these traditional practices.

While this does not seem an issue in itself, it is not what God desires for His people.

These traditional wellness practices do NOT have in and of themselves the power to transform hearts, renew minds, nor they speak God’s truth into the believer’s life.

2 Timothy 3:1/Revelation 3:15-17.

Call to Wholeness

What God desires for His people, are hearts, bodies and minds transformed by The Truth found in Scripture, revealing Christ Jesus’ redeeming love.

But he was wounded because of our crimes,
crushed because of our sins;
the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him,
and by his bruises* we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5 CJB

To live in His Peace and His Wholeness, for He is ONE. Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Deuteronomy 6:4

God desires our whole being, not just parts of it. He wants each one to taste and see what life is like when we give him all we are. For the glory of His name, as we live whole lives for the benefit of others.

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8

In God’s Wholeness, Jesus is the solid rock, the foundation from which seven discipline pillars stand. The pillars are capped by God’s Wholeness and Peace.

(Isaiah 8:13, Ephesians 2:20-22, Luke 20:17, Matthew 21:42, Acts 4:11-12, 1 Peter 2:3-10)
